Our Story
Road Crosser began in 2020 when two college friends, Alex and Maya, found themselves reminiscing about classic mobile games like Chicken Road during a game development hackathon. They realized that while these games had simple mechanics, they were incredibly addictive and engaging.
What started as a weekend project quickly evolved into a passion. They wanted to create a modern version of the Chicken Road experience but with a fresh twist – adding character progression, unique abilities, and stunning visuals without any gambling mechanics that had become prevalent in similar titles.
After six months of development in their apartment, they launched a beta version that gained traction among mobile gaming communities. The positive reception allowed them to expand their team, secure funding, and transform their passion project into PixelJump Studios – the company behind Road Crosser.
